I know there is a debate on whether running listening to music os OK or not.

My personal opinion is that it is perfectly fine and enjoyable when running for the heck of it, or when training. I think at a are it's kind of rude. I couldn't back that up with a reasoned argument, it's just how I feel.
So I ran listening to Belle & Sebastian's 'If You're Feeling Sinister (Live)'.
This is not "running music". You won't find 'The Fox in the Snow' or 'Me and the Major' on any Various Artists running compilation beside 'Eye of the Tiger' or 'Born to Run' but it really helped my running and definitely made me run faster. I think the reason for this was that I love this album, it made me happy, and it made me forget I was running because I was mostly enjoying listening to the music. Also it does have 'The Stars of Track and Field' on it which has the line, " And feel the city air, run past your body" which when you listen to while running through the city gives you goosebumps.
